Under the theme, "Civil Service at 123: Transforming Public Service in the Next Decade: Honing Agile and Future-Ready Servant-Heroes," this year's celebration symbolizes the collective experience of the government workforce in adapting to the challenges of the new normal. It emphasizes the pivotal role of digital transformation and innovative approaches in upholding the standards of public excellence and ensuring the continuity of essential government services. As we mark this occasion, it serves as a reminder of the unwavering commitment of civil servants to the Filipino people.
In the Municipality of Padre Garcia, a series of activities have been lined up to commemorate Civil Service Month and celebrate the dedicated LGU employees. These activities include a Mass, Parade, and the official launching of the Civil Service Month celebration on September 1, alongside the commencement of the LGU'lympics, featuring Volleyball and Basketball tournaments. Throughout the month, employees will engage in Palarong Pinoy, fostering camaraderie through games such as Chess, Scrabble, Limbo Rock, Tug of War, and Sack Race. On September 15, the championships for Volleyball and Basketball will take place, highlighting the competitive spirit of the workforce. The month will also focus on gender and development awareness with Gender Sensitivity Training scheduled for September 22. Finally, the celebration will culminate on September 29, featuring the Search for Mutya ng CSC 2023 and the presentation of the Loyalty Awards, recognizing and honoring the dedicated service of LGU employees.
